The Past

"Study the past if you would define the future."

Confucius

2021 - 2022 was a great time to build things. Back then, I didn't have enough knowledge of the technologies I needed to bring most of my ideas to life - but I tried anyway. The skills I picked up along the way landed me a job, which helped me enormously.

But with great power comes great responsibility - and almost no free time. Between work and college, I could barely touch my personal projects, let alone think about new ones. It was hard to juggle everything, but I learned so much in the process, and I'm deeply grateful to everyone who helped me through that stretch.

The Present

"What day is it?" asked Pooh. "It's today," squeaked Piglet. "My favorite day," said Pooh.

Three years flew by, and suddenly it's April 6, 2026. The manager pulls me aside for a quick chat. Out of nowhere, the HR lady appears with a stack of papers and starts delivering the bad news.

There I am, packing my things, replaying the moment in my head. The following week I was supposed to be promoted. Well... I was going to be. </3

So I started rethinking everything. Start a business? Get healthy and build some muscle? Invest the severance the company gave me? Why not all of it? I had time now. I had a bit of money. 🤑

Life lessons came rushing back. Good times show up, bad times show up - and that's normal. You just keep going.

And here I am: healthy (not exactly wealthy), with two job offers on the table. After a tough decision, I picked the one I'm certain will be a real game-changer.

The Future

"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."

Eleanor Roosevelt

Mary and I are excited about what's ahead. I plan to establish myself as a Mid-Senior, AI-focused developer, finally graduate (the tough part), and keep building. Mary plans to grow our 3D business, @RAMA3D, graduate alongside me, and invest in our future together.

Whatever the road brings, we wish the best for yours - and for ours. Always be kind and as long as we're alive, we have infinite chances!
